Joann E. Cullen, age 86 of Otsego, MN. Longtime resident of Coon Rapids, Minnesota passed away peacefully on March 24, 2020. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years Robert, parents Janet and Joseph Verhota; sons Jay and Bobby; grandson Scott. Survived by sons, Jim, Jeff and Jack; daughters, Joni (Tim), Jeana (Julie) and Janet. Grandchildren Chris, Ryan, Bob, Briana, Jack, Angela, Adam, Kelli, Mike, Joe, Dani, Connor and Hunter. Sister Jennifer (Richard) Brink, nieces Joalee, Erin and nephew J. R.; brother-in-law Richard (Barb) Cullen; nieces Carla and Kris; and many special friends. Joann loved being a wife, mother and grandma. They were her priority all her life. She was a true and loyal friend to many, a wonderful homemaker, cook, quilter and #1 fan of our many activities throughout the years. She will forever be the strongest, most amazing woman we have ever known. We miss you every day. Rest in peace mama, until we meet again. A burial service for both Joann and Bob will be July 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church cemetery, 18380 Columbus Street, Dayton, MN 55327.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023.
