Obituary for Jerod Perkins
Jerod B. Perkins, age 51 of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully at home September 10, 2024. Jerod grew up in Minnetonka and attended Hopkins Schools where he met many lifelong friends. Jerod traveled extensively and lived in Oslo, Norway for four years in his 30’s. He loved nature, art, science, history, cracking jokes, and quality time with friends and family. Jerod will be remembered by his quick wit, contagious smile, huge heart and daring adventures.
Survived by parents, Dale and Carolyn; siblings, Ed (Susan), Matt (Erin) and Colleen Liz Peterson (Jeff); nieces and nephew, Hailey M., Sammy, Jake and Hailey E.
Celebration of life event will be held 1-4 PM Monday, September 30, 2024, at the Shady Oak Pavilion, 5200 Shady Oak Road, Minnetonka MN 55343.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next. Evans-Nordby was recommended to us by our Priest and I’m so glad he did. From the moment I talked to Tina on the phone I could tell we were in good hands as she took care of every detail. We met with her the next day and she went through all the aspects of what we were to expect in the coming days, weeks, then months ahead. Every employee we had contact with at Evans-Nordby was kind, compassionate and extremely professional. Thanks Tina and to all at Evans-Nordby for making an unbearable experience at least tolerable.
