Korean War Veteran.

Retired from SuperValu as a retail counselor.

Avid golf enthusist.

Preceded in death by son, Bruce Allan; parents, Dorothy & Clarence; grandson, John Paul Wissler; and brother, James.

Survived by wife of 62 1/2 years, Gerri; children, Sue Wissler (John), Kim Smith (Tom), and Tom; grandchildren, Rebecca (Ben), Thomas, Andrew (Erla Osk), Laura, Anna, Eric (Amy), Lisa, Neal, Madison, and Megan; great grandchildren, Graham, Merrick, Amelia, Jon Petur, Robert Ari, and Tomas Pall; brother, Richard; and other relatives and many friends.

Visitation 5-8 PM Monday, January 15, 2018, with a Prayer Service at 7 PM, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, and 1 hour prior to mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, St. Walburga's Campus, 12020 Fletcher Lane, Rogers. Interment St. Walburga's Cemetery.

Memorials preferred to Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina (529 Moye Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834).
