Jennifer Stickler
Jennifer Stickler
October 15, 1970 - March 26, 2026
Jennifer (Carpenter) Stickler, age 55, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Jennifer was born on October 15, 1970, in Hutchinson, Minnesota, and spent her early childhood there before moving to Staples, Minnesota, where her father’s family roots ran deep. She attended Staples-Motley Schools from grade school through high school, forming lifelong friendships and a strong sense of community. Jennifer went on to attend the University of Minnesota-Morris, where she graduated with degrees in mathematics and economics, fields that reflected both her intelligence and her thoughtful, analytical nature.
Jennifer lived a life defined by love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Beloved wife of Timothy Stickler (29 years) and a deeply devoted mother to her daughters, Samantha and Elizabeth, who were the greatest joys of her life. She was the cherished daughter of Karen (Webster) Carpenter and the late Garry Carpenter.
She is also survived by her brother, Garry (Debbie) Carpenter II; parents-in-law, Frank and Jean Stickler; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Tony (Kathy) Stickler, Amy Stickler, and Gary (Amy) Stickler; as well as many aunts and uncles. Jennifer was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews: Lacey (Chris) and Nathan; Chris (Stacy), Ben (Alaina), and Austin; Marisa; Olivia, Jillian, and Hayden. Jennifer treasured time with her extended family and friends and found immense happiness in creating memories together. Family was truly the cornerstone of her life.
Jennifer had a dedicated and successful career with Prudential, where she worked for 30 years. She was known for her strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment, building lasting relationships with her colleagues. Jennifer took great pride in her work, bringing the same thoughtfulness and care to her career as she did to every part of her life.
An active and joyful spirit, Jennifer had a deep love for the outdoors and for staying active. She especially enjoyed tennis, pickleball, fishing, kayaking, walking, and spending time at the lake up north. Jennifer discovered her love for tennis in third grade and carried that passion with her throughout her life. In high school, she rose to the top of the varsity team and, alongside her doubles partner, earned second place at the MSHSL State Tennis Tournament her senior year. She continued to play competitively throughout college and remained devoted to the game. Fishing was another favorite pastime, often turning into friendly competition as she delighted in trying to catch both the biggest and the most fish. These moments on the court, on the water, or up north brought her great joy and strengthened her connections with those around her.
Jennifer was known for her remarkable kindness, thoughtfulness, and quiet selflessness. She had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen, valued, and supported, and she was always ready to step in when someone needed help or comfort. Her generosity of spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Jennifer’s legacy is one of compassion, warmth, resilience, and love. She will be remembered for her gentle strength, her dedication to those she loved, and the joy she found in life’s simple moments. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
May Jennifer’s memory bring comfort and peace to all who knew and loved her.
