Obituary for Jeff Schweitzer

Jeff Schweitzer, age 54, of Brooklyn Center. Passed away on August 14, 2019. Born in Minneapolis. Proceeded in death by father, George, and mother, Patricia; brother Brian; and his loyal companions Bear & Moose. Survived by his loving wife, Kelly; daughter, Jennifer; siblings, Sandra, Cheryl, Kevin, Pam, Steve, Cindy, and Rick; mother-in-law, Lois; sister-in-law, Kim; best friend Greg; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jeff attended Minneapolis Central, and Roosevelt High School. He worked the last 13 years for Stan Koch & Sons at Koch logistics. He considered Koch logistics his second family. Jeff enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, snowmobiling, and exploring the state of MN with Kelly. But most of all, he enjoyed loving his wife of 34 years. Special thanks to Dr. Chen, Cheryl, Renee, Lori, Kim, Greg, and Merrilee. A memorial gathering will be held at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church 5929 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center on Wed, Aug 21, 2019 from 4-8 PM. Memorials preferred to Jeff’s family.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next. We met with her the next day and she went through all the aspects of what we were to expect in the coming days, weeks, then months ahead.
