Obituary for Jay John Frazer

Jay John Frazer, age 72, of Maple Grove. Jay was an avid golfer and tennis player. He spent many years coaching youth sports at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School, and later made grandkids’ activities a priority in his life. Jay also loved traveling with his wife and family. Some of his favorite trips involved attending bluegrass festivals to see Dailey & Vincent. He enjoyed spring training visits to see the Minnesota Twins play, as well as an annual Iowa golf trip with family.

Preceded in death by his father, Henry Frazer; mother, Angeline Frazer; and wife, Kathy.

Survived by his children, Kristen (Jeremy) McAloon, Jeremy (Steph), Joel (Abby), and Katie (Scott) Barthel; grandchildren, Paige, Alex, Noah, Blake, Nathan, Lauren, Jaxon, Bryce, and Camden; sister, Janet Peterson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Wednesday, 4/3/24, at St. Vincent de Paul, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment St. Vincent's Cemetery. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
