March 21, 1969 - March 29, 2026

Jason B. Lano Sr, passed away on March 29, 2026, at the age of 57. His death came unexpectedly due to a sudden medical complication. He is survived by his 3 sons, Jason Jr, Joseph and Jacob. He is alsosurvived by his parents, Diane and Lloyd Lano and his siblings, James (Raj), Janel McDonald (Charles), Jon, Tony Benz (Mary), together with many nieces and nephews.

In 1987, Jason enlisted in the United States Navy and was a HospitalCorpsman. He served for several years including during the Gulf War. His time in service reflected his enduring commitment to helping others and his steadfast sense of duty. Following the military, Jason transitioned into public service as a nurse for over 30 years.

Buril will be held on Wednesday, July 15th at 11:30 am at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. 7601 34th Avenue South, Minneapolis. (Enter grounds through Gate 2, proceed to Assembly Area 3, please arrive by 11:15 am)

Following the burial, everyone is invited to gather at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 700 Wesley Lane, Mendota Heights, MN at 12:30 p.m. for a light lunch.
