Obituary for Janet Bernice Kiffmeyer (née Thonvold)

Janet B. Kiffmeyer passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 6, 2023. Born in Willmar, MN to Lloyd and Bernice Thonvold. She was 81 years old.

Janet enjoyed her time at the lake with family and friends . She also liked playing cards, words with friends, sudoku, and puzzles. She spent many years on a bowling team with friends and neighbors. She was a member of the red hats club with all of her sister in laws. Golf became a favorite pastime later in life.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Anita (Dan), sons Kurt (Christine), Todd, daughter Jennifer, 7 grandchildren, and 7 (with another arriving soon!) great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Sister, Mary, and brother, Butch (Jon).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, grandson, Brandon, her parents, her sisters Sharon, Diane, and brother Bruce.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023, from 4-7PM at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd Street NE, Osseo, MN.

Funeral Service Thursday, January 12th, 2023, at 11AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4700 Edinbrook Terrace, Brooklyn Park, MN, with an additional visitation one hour prior to the service at church.

I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home.
