Jane Cromer (Lesnik) 83, of Champlin, died Saturday January 4, 2020 in her home. She was born and raised in Forest City, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Mable Nessa. Jane graduated from Forest City High School. She married Joe Lesnik July 24, 2003 in Door County, Wisconsin.

Jane was passionate about her faith and often offered up prayer to her family and friends.Many times she would share stories about how God blessed her with children that were independent and had amazing work ethic.Mom had four jobs at one time and did whatever it took to care for her kids.She had amazing creative flair as a partner and custom framer of the Kenyon Gallery.She loved golfing, bowling, taking hikes in the park, cooking, artwork, and biking.She moved to the cities when she married Joe and started leasing apartments in Maple Grove where they lived for 12 years.She worked until she was 73 and finally enjoyed retirement spending time reading books, making lunch dates with her kids, friends and family, doing calligraphy for Servant of Christ Baptism certificates, and traveling to Door County and Florida with Joe. She loved her townhome in Champlin and felt extremely blessed for the life she was granted.One of the last quotes she posted to inspire many was:My family is my greatest treasure.We are not perfect but I love them with all my heart!

Jane was a member of Servant of Christ, Champlin, MN. She is survived by her husband Joe Lesnik. John /Joni (Sharon), Steve (Karen); Robin (Steve); Robert (Jane); grandchildren Zak, Kyle (Emily); Justin (Cora), Brady, Reece, Brittney, Brianna, Samantha, Bobbi, sister Jean Maakestad and many nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by daughter Cindy, her parents, Howard and Mable; sister Irene; brothers in law, Duane and Millard.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 11th, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Servant of Christ Church in Champlin. A family visitation one hour prior to the service at the church and a lite lunch following the service. Burial will be at the Champlin City cemetery.
