The stubbornness that saw him through this life...also saw him out.
James Noel Kirscht grew up on a small farm near Albertville, MN. Contracted Polio at age 14. Underwent rehabilitation at Sister Kenny Institute, regaining the ability to walk. Graduated from Elk River High School, attended the University of Minnesota, then the Minnesota School of Business - which led to a career with First National Bank of Minneapolis. Started out as Mail Clerk; ended up Assistant VP. Shifted to Christmas Tree Farming/Forest Management. Then became Business/HR Manager of Armstrong, Torseth, Skold & Rydeen Architectural/Engineering. Mastered Archery, Deer hunting, and remained active. A great Father, beloved Manager...and dogged Accountant, heading the banking industry's move from ledger to computer.
Survived Polio, Triple-Bypass, and a horrible collision with a motorcycle. Really stubborn. Really loved.
Survived by daughter Kay Kirscht, and brothers Emmet and Austin Kirscht.
