James L. Kauppila, age 86, of Dayton.
Survived by his wife of 61 years Arlene; children, Karin (Keith) Isaacs, Kathleen (Jerome) Rosten, Thomas (Lesli) Kauppila, Candace Junes, and Prudence (Allan) Lahti; grandchildren, Michael, Gina, Brent, Barret, Lucas, Brenna, Chloe, Justina, Drew, Zachary, Jillienne, Kyle, Jaq, Elaine, Oscar, Roman, and Leif; brothers, John Kauppila and Clayton (Brenda) Kauppila; sisters, Joan Walli and Juanita Carlson; and a host of brothers and sisters in faith.
Funeral Service 1 PM Thursday, January 21, 2021, at the Minneapolis Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church, 14000 129th Ave N., Dayton, with visitation from 11 AM – 1 PM. Interment Meadow Hills Cemetery, Dayton.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next. Evans-Nordby was recommended to us by our Priest and I’m so glad he did. From the moment I talked to Tina on the phone I could tell we were in good hands as she took care of every detail. We met with her the next day and she went through all the aspects of what we were to expect in the coming days, weeks, then months ahead.
