James "Jim" Eikos

December 21, 1951 - July 31, 2025

James "Jim" Eikos, age 73, passed away July 31, 2025 at his home in Brooklyn Park. Jim was born December 21, 1951 in Minneapolis and grew up in North Minneapolis, graduating from Patrick Henry High School and the University of Minnesota. It was at a co-worker's Christmas party where he first met the love of his life, Diane. They were married on October 13, 1995 and had two daughters and three wonderful decades together. Jim was incredibly proud of their daughters.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Lois; and brother, Tom.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; daughters, Lindsay and Hailey; sisters, Sue (Tom) Gorg and Sandy Pederson; nieces and nephews, Jacob, Jared, Zach, and Heather; as well as many other family members and friends. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday, August 18, 2025, at The Church of St. Gerard Majella, 9600 Regent Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church.
