Obituary for James H. Worden

James ‘Jim’ Worden, of Maple Grove, originally from Des Moines, IA, passed from our lives on Friday, 8/6/2021.He was 82 years young.

His visitation will take place at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home in Osseo on Wednesday 8/11, from 4p-8pm, with Memorial Service at 6PM. The family requests that masks be worn if you are not vaccinated.

As a musician, he was in several bands throughout his life playing the baritone sax, tenor sax, and clarinet. Most recently, he was part of the Honeywell Concert Band and the Maple Grove Jazz Ensemble.

James is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Cathryn Worden, daughter Michele (Mike) Peterson, grandchildren Kailey and Konnor Peterson, daughters Diane (Robert) Phipps, and Stacie Izzard.

James was preceded in death by his parents Carol (Ketman) and Eugene Worden, brothers John and David Worden.

At a future date, James will be buried at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Corcoran, MN.
