Preceded in death by parents, Henry & Theckla (Haus) Schommer of Jordan, MN; brother-in-law, Umberto (Bert) & sister, Estelle Cola of Bloomington, MN; brother, Edwin & sister-in-law, Lucille of Greeley, CO; Benedictine sisters, Sr. Rosella & Sr. Andriette of St. Paul’s Monastery; Brother, Mark of Jordan MN; & Sister, Francis (Arvid) Sorenson of Brooklyn Park, MN.

Survived by Benedictine sister, Sr. Andrine of St. Paul’s Monastery, St. Paul MN, Lois (Kohout) of Shakopee, MN; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends, especially Nadine Peterson, Maureen & Jerry Knoblauch, former co-workers & friends at St. Vincent de Paul.

Beth is a member of the Nat’l Ass’n for Retired Teachers, having taught for 21 years in Parochial Schools in the St. Paul Mpls Archdioceses and for 21 years in Ind. School District #279, Osseo MN. She was an avid reader, crossword puzzler & a sports fan of the MN Twins, Vikings, & Timberwolves. These activities, but mainly her family, friends and church were everything to her.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, April 14 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93^rd Ave N. Brooklyn Park, with visitation one-hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Vincent de Paul Church & St Paul’s Monastery.
