Obituary for Herman Feldstein

Herman Gal Feldstein, 88, Maple Grove, passed peacefully Nov 24th at Rose Arbor Wildflower Lodge in Maple Grove. He was born Dec 28th, 1932 in Mpls MN, the son of Leo and Dorothy (Danneker) Feldstein. Herman served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was married to Donna (Ray) Feldstein for nearly 54 years. "Herm", "Pops", "Feldy", "Gayl", "Gramps" enjoyed life and family to its fullest. His passion was simply being a husband, brother, father and grandfather. He loved participating in any "friendly" family competition of horseshoes, bags, darts and pool and always looked forward to "Happy Hour" with friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Dominic, sister, Charlotte and former spouse Jacquelyn Audette. Survived by wife, Donna; children, Becky (Bernie) Waldoch, Tony (Diane), Tom (Mary Ellen), Peter (Beth), and Laura (Corey) Moore; grandchildren Michael, Alex, Nick, Dustin, Tyler, Hunter, Maddie, Christian, Jack, Katie, Courtney, and Joe (Stephanie); 7 great grandchildren; and siblings, James, Cathy, Joan, and David.

A remembrance visitation gathering will be held from 4-7pm on Thurs Dec 2nd at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St NE, Osseo MN. A private burial service will be held on Fri Dec 3rd at 1pm at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with military honors for immediate and extended family.
