Obituary for Harvey Michael Torkelson

Age 63. of Brooklyn Center, passed away surrounded by loving family and friends after a gallant effort battling pancreatic cancer.

Harv is survived by treasured wife, CinDee Torkelson; daughter, Anita Torkelson; step-daughter, Shannon (Jon) Janssen; step-son, Joseph (Leah) Drealan; parents, Eldon & Margaret Torkelson; grandchildren, Lyn, Ashley, Sierra, Emily, and Evelyn; brothers, Ron (Lorene) Torkelson, Evan (Deb) Torkelson, brother-in-law, Tim Franey; as well as nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his sister Vicki Franey; grandson; and previous wife Eunice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3PM on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020 at Lutheran Church of the Master, 1200 69th Ave. N, Brooklyn Center, MN with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Interment at Grove Lake Cemetery, Glenwood, MN at a later date.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next.
