Erlandson, Harold A.

age 95, known to family as "Soley", went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 24, 2021. Harold was born in 1925 to George and Minnie (Holen) Erlandson in Lowry, Minnesota, and grew up on the family farm. He was an honorable man of quiet strength, always putting the needs of others first, and applying a skilled hand to any needed task. He collected farm toys and built beautifully crafted buildings to complete his large diorama, displaying it over the years to many hundreds. He and Ellen attended Wooddale Church for many years and most recently, Fourth Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired as a Surveyor from NSP after 30 years. Survived and dearly beloved by wife, Ellen; her children, Joni(Jim) Furry, Jim(Amber) Liljeberg, and John Liljeberg; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, George(Kathleen); and many treasured nieces, nephews, and their families. He was preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth; brothers, Wallace and Gordon; and sisters, Gertrude and Agnes. Due to Covid, a private family service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on February 3rd.
