Obituary for Gregory Smith
Gregory Smith, age 72, of Maple Plain. Greg passed away peacefully on February 10, 2019.
Greg was the owner of Bob & Carl’s Auto Body and Glass 1969-2012.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt and trap, and a life-long animal lover who had many different pets over the years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Don and Florence.
Survived by sons, Anthony and Christopher; sister, Theresa McConnell; nieces & nephews; special friend, Vickie Moline; and his beloved cat, Patches. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Greg’s Life will be at 5 PM Sunday, February 17, 2019, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, with a visitation 3-5 PM.
Memorials preferred to the American Heart Association.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
