Obituary for Francis C. "Frank" Beert

Age 92, of Champlin MN passed away on August 24, 2024.

Frank was born Jan. 9, 1932 at Lamberton, MN. to Immigrants from Belgium, Remi Beert & his spouse Helena (De Cap). He attended two years of high school at Lamberton and the final two years at Walnut Grove, MN. After further schooling he repaired TV sets in St. Cloud MN. for one year. He was then drafted unto the US Army where he served 14 months in the Signal Corps, in Germany.

After military service he attended the U of M for some time and then worked for Honeywell's Aerospace division for 15 years. This was followed by 22 years at Medtronic. Frank enjoyed both his work and the fine people he was privileged to work with. On Feb. 26 of 1952 he Married Rosemary Janorschke of St. Cloud MN. together raised 3 children.

He is survived by his children. Brian, Mark and Anthony; granddaughter Callandra (Tim Khos-Erdene), and grandson Riley (fiance Leah Marson).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosemary his spouse of 71 years, six sisters, two brothers; and daughter-in-law Tracey.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday September 12, 2024 at 11AM at St. Alphonsus Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N, Brooklyn Center. Visitation one hour prior to Mass.
