He won awards for his milk producing cows and was one of the first farmers to enroll in the Dairy Herd Improvement Assoc. along with utilizing artificial insemination. The family worked hard together but he always had time to play ball with his boys. Eldin gave his life to Jesus at a young age, and with Marj, played an important role leading their 3 boys to the Lord. They faithfully gave of their time and talent at United Methodist, Plymouth Baptist and lastly at Victory Baptist. Music inspired Eldin a great deal and had most hymns memorized. His love of music was evident at Steeple Pointe where he continually stumped the piano player & closed their devotion time with a favorite song, Brighten the Corner Where You Are. Eldin & his very dear friend, Barb, ended their days by singing to each other, either in person or over the phone, two precious songs, Let Me Call You Sweet Heart & You Are My Sunshine.

Eldin will be remembered by his endless faith, kindness and sharing unselfishly the love he had for Jesus.
