Obituary for Elaine Engels

Elaine C. Engels (nee Rambow), of Maple Plain was taken home on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the age 81.

She was raised on the Rambow family farm in Maple Grove and graduated from Osseo High School in 1952. She was united in marriage to William J. Engels on June 20, 1953. Bill and Elaine's adventures continued in Osseo until 1965 when they moved to Eveleth, MN, where they truly enjoyed a very active social life and made many new lifetime friends and memories. Bill's work brought them to Edina, MN in 1971, once again close to their extended family and friends. Elaine went to work for the TF James Company, where she worked until her retirement in 1996. Her life revolved around her family, weekends at the cabin, and travel.

Preceded in death by her husband, William; parents, Louis and Lydia Rambow; brother, Clarence; and sister, Eleanor Aeshleman.

Survived by her four children: daughters, Cynthia (Tim) Krech and Victoria (Richard Reinking and sons, Curt Engels and Joseph (Nancy) Engels; 6 grandchildren, Mike (Robin) Reinking, Matthew (Colleen) Reinking, Mitchell (Sara) Reinking, Shane Conner, William Engels, and Sarah Engels; 7 great grandchildren, Aubrey, Brad, Chad, Lillliam, Dale, Norah, and Ellie Reinking; brother-in-law, John Aeshleman; nieces and nephews.
