Obituary for Eilert Burton Pederson

Eilert Burton Pederson, passed away on Thursday Morning, March 2, 2023, at the age of 95. He was born on Good Friday, April 15, 1927, in Nashua, MN, With deep commitment to his country, he enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1944 at the age of 17 and, along with his brothers, he proudly served our country in World War II. He earned his BA degree at Mankato Teachers College, and he had a distinguished career as an insurance executive at Prudential for 35 years. Kind and thoughtful, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Eilert was a man of integrity and faith, and he was active in his church and in many social organizations.

He will be greatly missed and is survived by his loving wife, Audrey; his children, Andrea Pederson, Steve Pederson (Darlene), Doug Pederson (Beverlee); his grandchildren, Aaron, Laura, Matt, Peter, Elizabeth, Will, Anabel; and his great grandchildren, Tallulah, Imani, Clover, Leela, Jai, Jasper, and Flora.

Service will be held at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, 5929 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, on Monday, April 10, 2023. The visitation will begin at 10 AM followed by a service at 11 AM, and lunch thereafter.
