McKay, Edward C. "Mickey," age 88 of Brooklyn Park. Ed will be greatly missed, he was very family oriented and a father figure to many. Former owner of Gopher Electric with business partners Cheryl Doran and Carl Gause.
Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; brother, Thomas J. McKay and F. Delano McKay; sister, Elizabeth Hanratty. Survived by sister Harriet J. Chenvert; nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Thursday, July 7, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N., Brooklyn Center. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation 4-8PM Wednesday, July 6, at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 Second Street N.E., Osseo and 1 hour prior to mass at church Thursday.
