Douglas L. Smith, age 93 of Minneapolis, passed away on September 1, 2021. Preceded in death by wife of 71 years, Dolores; sons, Mitchell and Stephen; daughter, Mary Beth Ziegler; and grandson, Josiah Ziegler. Survived by daughter, Cheryl (Brian) Rowles; sons, David (Cindy) Lehner-Smith and Jeffery Smith; son-in-law, Tim Ziegler; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service 2PM Wednesday, 9/8 at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave. Minneapolis, MN 55408, with visitation starting at 1:30PM. Interment to follow the service at Lakewood Cemetery. I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home.
