Douglas P. Cincotta age 61 from Brooklyn Center, MN died October 7th. He is Preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Carrol Cincotta. Survived by sister, Patty (Tom) Slavik; brothers, Robert Cincotta, Jerry Cincotta (Doreen); nephew, Michael (Jessica) Slavik; niece, Angela (Rick) Banaszewski; and great uncle to Lucas, Logan and Elizabeth, many cousins and friends. Memorial service 11AM Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, with visitation one-hour prior. Inurnment at Gethsemane Cemetery.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
