Douglas Eugene Grabau, age 91, of Brooklyn Center, MN, passed away Dec. 2, 2017.
Devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, proud WW II Navy veteran and longtime employee of the aviation division of Honeywell.
Preceded in death by sons, Scott and Mark (Mary).Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Marietta; children, Ann Carlson, Paul (Hilary), Beth (Mikkel); 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; his sister, Dorothy and brothers, Robert, John and Gary.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
