Dorothy Elaine Copeland, age 96, of New Brighton formerly of Brooklyn Park, passed away March 12, 2018. Worked for many years at Hennepin Technical College in Financial Aid. Preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Louis; her parents, Arthur & Frances Amundson; & 11 siblings. Survived by daughter, Susan (Bill) Diekman; sister, Gloria (Les) Smith; goddaughters, Linda (DeWayne) Lukkasson & Frances (Ernie) Swenson; and numerous other nieces & nephews. Funeral Service 11 AM Friday, March 16, 2018, at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck.
