Humke, Donald “Don,” age 75 of Brooklyn Center died on January 30, 2016. Born April 16, 1940 to Roy and Ruth (Tilton) Humke of Quincy, Ill. Retired Air Force/Air National Guard. Worked for MnDot for 38 years. He enjoyed knife making and wood carving. Survived by Alice (Capser), wife of 55 years; daughters, Judy Greenwald, Janet (Roger) Schnieder; son, Charles; grandchildren, Dan (Lauren), Brad, Tory, and Dillon; great-grandchildren, Christian, Kailyn, and Kenna; sister-in-law, Ruth Humke; step-brother, Glen; and many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim & Faye and “the gang” at Embers. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Delbert and Robert; step-brothers, Galen and Wendel; and niece, Becca; and nephew, Rex.

I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home. It was a very difficult time and they were so caring, sensitive, helpful and very organized in making the funeral go smoothly. The funeral home in Osseo felt so welcoming and comfortable also.
