Diane Marie Voss
November 29, 1947 - March 4, 2026
Diane Voss was born November 29th, 1947 to Donna and Robert Holmquist. She was second of seven children joining Pat, Harland, Jan, Linda, Pam, and Brenda. She grew up in Dawson, MN, where she spent her early years on their family farm where she attended school, enjoyed reading books and loved climbing trees in her downtime.
She met the love of her life, Dave Voss and they were married on September 22nd, 1973. Together they built a life in Brooklyn Park and were blessed to have 3 boys: Derek, Brandon, and Jeremy. Their marriage was filled with love, laughter, and faith.
Throughout her life, she worked as a book keeper at Creamette and C.E.A.P. In addition, she was a stay at home mom, providing support and care for her family.
In her free time, she loved summer days at the cabin with her family, playing card games, walks with Dave, spending time at the farm and photography. Diane was most known for her contagious laugh and her famous chocolate cake that she made for every birthday and special events.
She devoted her free time to her relationship with God where she spent her early mornings reading scripture and praying. She was very involved in her church where she took roles helping in fireflies, BSF, VBS, and Martha’s Unit. Her faith was the most the important part of her life. Through her strong faith and loving spirit, she helped guide many people on their faith journeys and inspired them to grow closer to God.
Family meant everything to her as well. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren. She treasured spending time with them, supporting them at their sporting, academic, and religion events, through it all she was proud of everything they accomplished.
She was called home on March 4th, 2026. Where she was welcomed with open arms by her parents, Harland, Brandon and her Savior Jesus Christ.
