Johnson, David C., age 76, born in Detroit Lakes on June 14, 1940 and went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2016. He was a longtime resident of Minneapolis. Retired from Viking Automatic Sprinkler Company and Local Union #417 member. Preceded in death by parents, Axel & Vivian; 2 brothers, Raymond & Lincoln; grandson, Christopher Luke. Survived by wife, Pat; children, Mike (Beth), Brad (Sharon), Rick (Amy), Anthony; grandchildren; sister, Gladys (Tom) Raymond; brother, Robert; and many relatives, friends & neighbors.

Visitation from 4-8PM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Evans Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center. Funeral Service 11AM Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Hope Lutheran Church, 5200 Emerson Ave N., Minneapolis with a visitation starting at 10AM. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. A special thanks to all the staff at Heartland for the care given to David on his final journey.
