Obituary for Darlene Holmes

Darlene J. (Olson) Holmes, age 90, of Anoka, went to her heavenly home peacefully September 21, 2024, after a long illness. Preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Susie (Schauer) Olson; brother, Keith; sister, June Mahoney; and sister-in-law, Marjorie (Quade); and 8 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law on her husband's side. Survived by husband of 66 years, David; daughter, Debora; son, Thomas (Susan Chandler); 3 beloved grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jack Mahoney; and many friends and relatives, including 17 treasured nieces and nephews. Funeral service Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 12 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th Ave., Anoka, with visitation at 11 AM and lunch to follow. Link to livestreamed service available below.
