Craig Considine
Craig Considine
March 20, 1949 - May 15, 2025
Craig Francis Considine was relieved from his physical pain and agony by the mercy of our Creator, on May 15th, 2025, at the age of 76 in Rogers, MN.
Craig retired from Honeywell after too many years to count and was best known for his strong stance and unrelenting tenacity, representing his fellow workers as union steward with the Teamster's. He had a feisty spirit and if he thought the cause was right, he would fight until the battle was won. He also worked for Rusty's Auto Salvage for many years, with memorable moments from the blizzard of 1975. During the winter months as the snow moved in, Craig would stop at home and as abruptly as he walked in the door, he would rush back out to brave the road conditions to plow the heaps of snow.
Craig was an avid fisherman, always looking forward to spending time on the lake, and enjoyed watching the Twins and Vikings play each season. He was an incredibly gifted mechanic, who seemed to be able to take a carburetor apart and put it back together blindfolded.
Craig was a strong believer in Christ and aspired to use his craftsmanship in mechanics as a ministry, helping those in need. He was blessed to have the Scriptures written into his memory and never shied away from a conversation about salvation. Craig knew no stranger and would help almost anyone that asked. He had a compassionate heart for those that were hungry, bringing groceries to many in need throughout the years. He also had a soft spot for his beloved dogs and was dubbed "The Treat Man".
Craig is survived by wife, Dale Considine; son, Adam Considine (Athena); daughter, Shana M. Dobson (Isaiah Lazar); grandsons, Theodore Zorn (Tayia) and Isaiah Zorn; three great-grandsons, Thomias, Thaddius and Theodore Oliver; brothers, Cory Considine, Clay Considine (Roxanne) and Carl Considine (Nancy); sister, Coreen Thumb (John); & former son-in-law, Timothy Zorn.
Craig was preceded in death by both his parents, and his most beloved brother, Cliff.
