Charice Yvonne McDowell

McDowell, Charice, age 52, unexpectedly passed away at home on June 18th. Charice grew up in Anoka and was Class of 1991. After High School Charice attended classes at both North Hennepin Community College and Anoka Ramsey and got her Degree in Criminal Justice. For the past 20 years she has worked for Hennepin County helping Families get assistance and some major projects were assisting families during the tornado that hit Minneapolis many years ago. In her spare time Netflix was her friend as she battled health issues. She is survived by husband, Curt of 30 plus years; kids, Shawn and Samantha; Mother, Rose Ducept; Brother, Ross Ducept; Sister, Valerie Johnson; and many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Fur Babies, Lucy and Shelby. She was also a Member of the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation where she instilled the families Native Heritage. She is preceded in death by Father, Oscar Ducept.  Showing 4-7 pm Tuesday, June 24th at Evans-Nordby Funeral home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center MN with Cremation afterwards as Charice said that would be here last chance for a smoking hot body. Charice was known for her openness and warm pure heart. She is missed greatly!!! Interment will be at the First Baptist Cemetery in Henning MN.
