Obituary for Caroline J. McHugh
Age 85, of Maple Grove, passed away peacefully on March 20th, 2021.
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Ella (Dahlberg) Olson; and sister, Gladys Chapel.
Grateful to have shared nearly 70 years with her Osseo High School sweetheart and husband of 64 years & 11 months, Roger. She is also survived by beloved children, Karen (Randee) Kyrola, Dale (Kathy) McHugh, and Beverly (Jeff) Wehe; sister, Kathy Todd; brother, Walter Olson; several relatives and close friends; and many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved and adored her.

Due to covid, there will be a private funeral and no visitation. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
