June 25, 1955 - January 4, 2026

Carol Sanchez (Coleman), age 70, of Golden Valley passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026 after battling cancer. Carol was born June 25, 1955 to George R. and Leone M. Coleman. She grew up in Minneapolis and attended Holy Angels Academy. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gary and Tom; and niece Claire. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Vincent; brothers Jim (Jan), Dan, Dave (Kathy), Bob (Kerrie), Jerry, and Rick (Kathy); her in-laws Ines, Christopher, Benny (Mindy), Joey (Tanya), Marilyn, and Cynthia; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly.

Carol was a passionate person that held strong to her beliefs, valued quality time spent with those she loved, and always had a special spark with children. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, traveling to NASCAR events with her husband, cruising with family, and playing bingo with her nieces who lovingly refer to her as “Cayol.” Carol was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
