Carl J. Obermeier, age 99 of Brooklyn Park. Preceded in death by wife, Marcella; brother, Virgil. Survived by sister, Shirley; children, Dennis (Diane), John (Barbara), Steve (Dawna), Jean, JoAnne (Ron); 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; & many other relatives and friends. Carl served in the US Navy in 1942-1945 (Part of the Greatest Generation). He worked at Fluidyne Engineering as a Design Draftsman. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Thursday, Feb 7, 2019, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment at Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, 4249 Nicollett Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55409 https://www.mccl.org/donate
