Bryan James Olson

Bryan James Olson, born to Kathleen Eiden and Scott Olson on 02/02/83, passed away on 4/28/26 surrounded by loved ones. He fought a short but courageous battle against Small Intestine cancer. Preceded in death by Step-dad Thomas Eiden, Grandparents George and Mary Vanderhoff, Brother in-law Jay Vanderhoff, Grandfathers Warner (Jim) Olson and John Eiden.

Survived by his loving wife of over 7 years Renee Olson and beloved husky Thor, Mother Kathleen Eiden, Father Scott Olson (Panda), twin Sister Sherri Scholz (Seth), In-laws John and Cheryl Neuberger, Sister in-law Rachel Lehman (Chris), Grandmothers Kathy Olson and Annette Eiden and many aunts, uncles, cousins, one niece, four nephews and dear friends.

Bryan grew up in Minnetonka, MN and Brooklyn Center, MN and attended elementary school at Birchview and St. Raphael's. He graduated from Totino-Grace High School in 2001 and studied at Moorhead State University-MN and North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park, MN. He earned his Electrical License at Minneapolis Electrical JATC. In 2016 Bryan’s team won the Student/Apprentice Team National Championship held in Florida. Bryan was an IBEW Local 292 Journeyman Electrician. He most recently worked as a Journeyman Supervisor, installing solar-panel fields in Becker, MN.

Bryan loved watching Horror movies with his wife Renee, his husky Thor, playing video games with his friends, listening to music and singing karaoke. He and Renee also enjoyed going to celebrity meet and greets for actor autographs from their favorite shows. Bryan had many wonderful friends that he loved. He was a man of integrity he stood up for what he believed in, he valued kindness, generosity, honesty and treating others as you would want to be treated. He was a funny, loving and a wonderful husband, son, brother and uncle. He will be terribly missed by us all.

The wake will be held on Thursday, 5/28/26, from 4-8pm at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd Street NE, Osseo, MN 55369. Funeral Mass on Friday, 5/29/26 with visitation at 9:30am followed by Mass at 10:30am, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Avenue N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445. Interment following Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery 8601 93rd Avenue N, Osseo, MN 55369. Memorials preferred to family in lieu of flowers.
