Brian Burton Evans, 68, of Champlin, Minnesota suffered a massive heart attack on August 21, 2024 from which he did not recover, passing away on August 30, 2024.
Brian was born in Robbinsdale, MN to Burton and Audrey Evans on October 15, 1955. He graduated high school and went to trade school. He worked many years with Burt, buying and selling cars. He worked in St. Paul selling cars for several years before taking a job at Iten Chevrolet. While at Iten, Brian worked a variety of jobs - detailing cars, working dealer trades, and helping with car running. After the closure of Iten Chevrolet, Brian worked as a custodian for Edina Public Schools until September 2020, when he retired.
Brian married Lynn Hendrickson on June 27, 1987 and together they raised two amazing children, Jesse and Chelsea.
Brian loved camping, fishing, car shows, Nascar, and watching sports.
Brian was predeceased by his father, Burton Evans; mother, Audrey Evans; father-in-law, Jerry Hendrickson; mother-in-law, Elna Hendrickson.
Brian is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Lynn; son, Jesse; daughter, Chelsea; aunt, Avis Veselka; aunt, Dorothy Krolik; in-laws, Tom & Yvonne Hendrickson, Bill & Terri Dinesen. Brian was also blessed with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, neighbors, co-workers, and friends were his chosen family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 5-7PM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St NE, Osseo, as well as 1 hour prior to the service at the church. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11AM at Advent Lutheran Church, 9475 Jefferson Hwy, Maple Grove.
