Obituary for Blake M. Iverson

Age 25 of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2019 after a 3-year battle with brain cancer. A die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, Blake will be remembered for his love of the Green and Gold and for his infectious laugh that earned him the nickname “Giggles.” Blake enjoyed traveling to visit Lambeau Field with his family in 2016 and driving the black Jeep Wrangler that he bought in the summer of 2018.

Blake was a 2011 graduate of Osseo Senior High School, where he enjoyed playing tuba in the marching band. He went on to study at the Osseo Secondary Transition Center and Hennepin Technical College, before working in plastics manufacturing at Mikros Engineering.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
