Billie Gale Austin, age 91, of Brooklyn Center.Billie grew up in Richfield. She met her husband Elroy in Eden Prairie and they were married for 60 years.Together they raised their family in Brooklyn Center. She enjoyed painting, drawing, gardening, reading, and her beloved cats.

Preceded in death by her husband, Elroy; son, William; and parents, Bill and Venita Nordeen.

Survived by children, Glenn (Cathy,) Lynn, and Randy (Joan); grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica (Mike), and Joessa; great grandchildren, Ava, Isla, Ella, and Jack; sister, Wanita (Lyle) Gerhardt; and Binky the cat.

Memorial Service 3 PM Monday, January 13, 2020, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, with visitation 2-3 PM. Private interment.
