November 27, 1931 - October 9, 2020

Beverly Marion (Nelson) Hoium, age 88, of Brooklyn Park, died peacefully in her sleep on October 9, 2020.

Preceded in death by her parents, Georgia & Albert Nelson and sister, Gwen Ruschoff.

Survived by husband of 67 years, Richard; children, Melody (Mike) Sanford and Dean (Barbara) Hoium; grandchildren, Rachael (Matt), Alicia (Aaron), Evan (Allie), Benjamin (Caitlin), Elizabeth, 3 great grandchildren; Taylor, Reese, and Emerson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Graduate of North High School and retiree of Medtronic. She dearly loved going to the cabin in Wisconsin. Her life revolved around her family, friends, and her church, Cross of Glory, of which she was a charter member. She will be forever remembered for her spunky personality and humor.

Private family service Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, Brooklyn Center. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapolis.
