Beverly Ellefson

Beverly Marie Ellefson was born to Fred and Ester Olson on May 27,1934. She passed away on August 6, 2025 at the age of 91 years old.

    She married Charles Ellefson on October 10,1959.  They started married life in San Diego, CA and then moved to Minneapolis, MN where Charles went to seminary.  Parishes they served were in Hatton, ND, California Prison System in Stockton, CA, Bisbee, ND, Cape Town, South Africa, Pembina, ND and had their last parish in New Rockford, ND.

     After Charles died in 2007, Bev moved to Maple Grove, MN and finally to an assisted living facility in Brooklyn Center, MN.

     Bev brought so much joy to her family and friends. We will all miss her infectious laugh and smile.

     Bev is survived by her children, Mark (Deb) of Maple Grove, MN, Dave (Alleson) of Moorhead, MN; Her grandchildren, Jacob Ellefson (Megan) of Billings, MT, Calli Berg (Tyson) of Fort Collins, CO, Devin Ellefson of West Fargo, ND, Andrea Wicklund (Eric) of Moorhead, MN, and Lexi Ellefson of Moorhead, MN; 3 great grandchildren, Beckham, Anders, and Kaia. She is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews.

     Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents, Fred and Ester Olson; her 5 siblings, Robert Olson, Elaine Kennedy, Ed Olson, Vi Paul, and Richard Olson.

     Bev’s life will be celebrated 3PM September 13, 2025 at Evans Nordby Funeral Home,  34 2^nd street NE Osseo, MN. Visitation from 2-4 Burial will be at a later date in New Rockford, ND next to her husband, Charles.
