Barb age 78 of Surprise, AZ; formerly of Brooklyn Park, MN.

Barb was born at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis on April 9th, 1948. She grew up in Crystal, MN and graduated from Cooper High School in 1966. Barb went on to attend St. Barnabas Nursing School on Minneapolis, graduating as a RN in 1969. She worked as a OB nurse for over 40 years. She enjoyed her retirement years in Arizona and moved there full time in 2019.

Barb loved spending time with her friends, playing cards and going to bingo. She also loved all of her fur babies: cats Betsy & Peaches; dogs Scooter, Max & Beanie Baby, Barb passed away peacefully in Arizona on July, 24th, 2026 after a long battle with cancer.

She is preceded in death by parents Warren & Martha Peterson.

Survived by sisters Valerie Holt and Candice (David) Frick; niece Amy (Brett) Goodsen; great-niece Ella Goodsen, great nephew Braylon Goodsen and many other loving relatives and friends.
