“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
These words beautifully reflect the life of Barbara Ann Lindman, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, who passed away on March 23rd, 2026. A woman of deep and unwavering faith, she loved Jesus with her whole heart, read her Bible daily, and faithfully attended church each week. Even while facing stage 4 cancer, she never complained, enduring pain with quiet strength and grace. She found peace in knowing where she was going and held tightly to the promise of heaven. Today, we rejoice in knowing she is no longer in pain, but healed and at home with her Savior. Barbara was born on December 16, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Lloyd (“Peewee”) and Stella Stansfield. She worked at Northern States Power until the birth of her daughter, Jill.
On September 16, 1967, she married the love of her life, Gary Lindman. Together they built a life in Brooklyn Center, where they raised their children, Jill, John, and JP. In 1993, they moved to Plymouth, where they continued to raise their family and create lasting memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Stella Stansfield, and her son, JP Lindman. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Gary Lindman; her children, Jill Kinney (Steve) and John Lindman (Cherie); and her treasured grandchildren, Caleb Lindman, Seth Paulson, Brandon Lindman, Hunter Lindman, Aidan Kinney, and Anaya Lindman. Barbara will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her gentle spirit, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life. Her legacy of love and devotion to her family and her Savior will live on in all who knew her.
