Arvey L. Klimp, age 90, of Brooklyn Park, passed away February 12, 2019 at J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice.
Preceded in death by children, Leonard, Douglas, Victoria, and Margaret (Greg) Engholm.
Survived by wife of 70 years, Arlyne; daughters, Roseann (Robert) Bingen, Judy McMurray, and Nancy (Mike) Horbul; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service 11 AM Friday, March 1, 2019, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Leaf Mountain Cemetery in the spring.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
