Obituary for Ann Nagengast

Ann M. Nagengast, currently of Otsego, born March 14, 1953 in Minneapolis, MN and passed away on May 10, 2022 at the age of 69. Ann was preceded in death by her father, mother and two brothers. Survived by nephews, Todd (Debbie), Troy (Michelle), Tate (Lillian), and Travis; niece, Tammy (Randy); sister-in-law, Karen; and 8 grand nieces & 4 grand nephews. A graduate of Osseo High School and the U of M, she left Minnesota for California in her late 20’s. Arriving back in Minnesota in 1989, she worked for her brother at an Art Gallery until she landed a job at the Post Office. Always ready to learn, she took classes in sign language and other subjects. Ann had a big heart and was willing to help anyone in need. She loved animals, especially cats, and was an animal rights advocate. She left behind her favorite companion Jackie, her cockatoo. Visitation 6:30-8:30PM with a Rosary Service at 7PM, Tues May 24th, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd Street NE, Osseo. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30AM Wed May 25th, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave N., Brooklyn Park with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment at St. Vincent’s Cemetery.
