Obituary for Allen Ray Volstad

Age 71, of Maple Grove, died peacefully in his sleep on September 2nd, 2019. Allen proudly served as a rifle specialist in the Army during the Vietnam War, and later worked as an electronic technician at Honeywell for 40 years. He loved hunting, fishing, family and friends. Allen was a rock, and always provided his support to family and friends during their times of need.

Preceded in death by parents, Morris & Thelma; and brother, Larry.

Survived by children, Michael (Krista) Volstad, and Pamela (Aaron) Warfield; friend & former wife, Catherine Volstad; grandchildren, Marissa, Haley, and Jordan Volstad, and Aarryanna Warfield; and sisters, Carrie (John) Nordstrom, and Debbie Cullen.

Memorial service 2 PM Friday September 13th at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
