Obituary for Alice Leuning

Leuning, Alice M. age 76, of Brooklyn Park, passed away March 12, 2016. Alice was born in Hendricks, MN to Gina and Martin Christopherson. She is survived by her husband, James; and two daughters, Kimberly (Mike) Peterson, Lisa (Bob) Marko; 4 grandchildren, Ellie and Jack Peterson, Madison and Ava Marko. She was preceded in death by her son Kevin Leuning; her parents; and 10 sisters and brothers. She has one surviving sister, Helen Hemish of Canby, MN; and also, many nieces and nephews. The family lived in Rapid City, SD for several years and then moved to Brooklyn Park, MN where she had her own child care business. She loved children and provided this service until she became ill. Memorials are preferred to Caring and Sharing Hands of Minneapolis. A funeral service will be held on Sunday May 29, 2016 in Hendricks, MN at Christ Lutheran Church, 104 E Henderson St. Visitation at 1PM and the service at 2PM with burial at Calvary Cemetery, the east grave site.
