Obituary for Alfred Smith Jr.

Age 68 of Champlin. After a courageous journey with multiple myeloma, died peacefully on March 13th surrounded by family. Preceded in death by parents Al Sr. and Birdie. Survived by Vicki, wife of 47 years, children Alisa, Jamisen (Amber), and Nick (Melissa), sisters Sandy, Becky, Vickie, and Cheryl, grandchildren Austin, Kenna, Hayden, Hunter, and Leighton, and many more loved family members and cherished, close friends. Al enjoyed fishing, photography, travel, collecting, and especially classic cars. Service will be held Wednesday, March 21st (10am visitation, 11am mass) at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Brooklyn Park.
