August 13, 1976 - July 29, 2025

Aaron Thraen, age 48, of New Hope, passed away on July 29, 2025.

Aaron was a passionate caretaker and found a career as a transfer care assistant (collector) working in the funeral service industry. Prior to his first stroke, Aaron loved the outdoors and enjoyed biking and fishing.

Preceded in death by his mother, Debi and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Aaron will be fondly remembered by his daughter, Teya; father, Andy; sister, Candi Shreve (Adam); grandchildren, Aurora and Amira; niece and nephew, Ayden and Nora; and special friend, Amy. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends who will all deeply miss him.

A Celebration of Life Service to honor Aaron's memory will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, , from 11 AM to 2 PM, with food and refreshments served and a heartfelt Prayer Service at 12PM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429.

Memorials are preferred to the American Stroke Association (https://www.stroke.org).
